2008 Classes - July 21 - 25
The Title 42/Civil Rights classes are one-week seminars devoted to those people who have had some rather (un)civil servants walk all over their civil rights (or who simply want to be prepared for the possibility). And this doesn't mean the simple application of brute force; violation of civil rights can take many forms, and this class shows the hows, whats and whys of civil rights violation suits.
Title 42 § 1983 is the section of Federal law devoted to civil rights violations and their rectification. This is most common means of gaining redress of grievance in cases of civil rights violations, for US citizens and non-citizens alike.
George has brought a number of these cases to trial, even settling one in gold. The mere filing of a Title 42 suit often brings about a very desirable result, i.e., most of the time (you still get some idiots who don't get the message) whoever you filed against is very careful about what they say and do henceforth, generally at the 'strong suggestion' (read: order) of their insurance company. So, if you're being harassed, it's likely the harassment will cease.
These classes cover what Title 42 § 1983 is, its applications, and whether or not you have a valid grievance under Title 42. You'll hear how others have had their rights violated and their solutions, how much various violations are worth in court and, even, when to settle out of court. There are five rules that, if not followed, will cause the court to dismiss a case out of hand. You'll learn those five rules, how to overcome dismissal and numerous other procedures.
If possible, take this class with a friend. While Title 42 suits brought by one person can be effective, multiple suits are more likely to produce swift and drastic action against a truly troublesome civil servant (thanks to your friendly insurance companies, who will refuse to insure such an obvious insurance risk). And don't even contemplate class-action suits; one dismissal and everyone loses. By filing individually, you can learn from the court's actions on preceding cases, correct yours and win.

BASIC COURTROOM STRATEGY & PROCEDURE CLASS:
2008 Classes - July 7 - 18, December 8 - 19
Have you ever watched one of those courtroom drama shows, and wondered what Perry Mason felt like, standing in front of everyone as he prepared to unmask the real villain and get his innocent client off the hook? Have you ever sat in that innocent client's seat, watching as an overpriced lawyer screwed up and you paid the price because he either didn't know what he was doing or didn't care? Then this class is for you.
The Basic Courtroom Strategy & Procedure classes are two week seminars devoted to teaching an individual those basic skills necessary for him to function in today's courtroom. These include such things as what types of pleadings are available to a person charged with a crime, how to write motions, interrogatories, answers, and complaints, and what types to write in various situations, how to conduct discovery, and what to do when, and if, you reach trial such as examining and cross examining witnesses, objecting to questions, motions, and other moves by your opponent, and how to behave yourself in court.
Some people might ask 'How can I learn everything a lawyer does in two weeks, when it takes them two years?' The short answer is: you don't. Remember that a law school education encompasses much more than simply knowing your way around a trial courtroom. Most graduates of law school spend time apprenticing themselves to a more experienced lawyer because they didn't get that much classroom instruction or practical experience in handling themselves in court. George doesn't teach the ins and outs of legal ethics, legal history, attorney/client privilege, and hundreds of other topics that make up the vast majority of class hours spent in law school. Instead, he concentrates on what to do before you set foot in a courtroom, what to do once you're there, and how to win.
If you're wondering what reasons you might have to take such a class besides simple curiousity, or the desire to understand just what your lawyer is doing the next time you're in court, there are a number of good reasons. The first is simple economics. Let's say you take this class, go into court over a speeding ticket, and lose. You have to pay the ticket. If you'd hired a lawyer, the odds are still pretty good that you'd end up paying the ticket, plus whatever your lawyer cost. Maybe you couldn't afford a lawyer, so you got a public defender. You should keep in mind that in the vast majority of cases where a public defender is present, he isn't there to try and win the case, he's there because the Supreme Court said that you had to have representation. Which means that he'd probably tell you to go ahead and pay the stupid ticket, because he has thirty more people, with similar cases that he has to get through before lunch. And they all get paid, win or lose.
Another reason can be found in Volume 7 of Corpus Juris Secundum, which states, under the heading 'Attorney & Client:' "A client is one who applies to a lawyer or counselor for advice and direction in a question of law, or commits his cause to his management in prosecuting a claim or defending against a suit in a court of justice; one who retains the attorney, is responsible to him for his fees, and whom the attorney is responsible for the management of the suit; one who communicates facts to an attorney expecting professional advice. Clients are also called 'wards of the court' in regard to their relationship with their attorney." And regarding attorneys, "His first duty is to the courts and the public, not to the client, and wherever the duties to his client conflict with those he owes as an officer of the court in the administration of justice, the former must yield to the latter." If you go and look up what is meant by 'ward of the court' you'll see that by the simple act of hiring an attorney, you've declared yourself a legal incompetent. And here you thought you were being smart by going out and hiring a lawyer. Still wonder why pro se litigants win so many more cases than lawyers? Well for one thing, it's their hide on the line, not some lawyer, who'll go home to a good dinner and bed, even if he loses. If they'd lock lawyers up with clients who were found guilty, do you think they'd have a better win record? Also, how does it feel now that you know that old Honest John, the lawyer with a heart, really has the court's and the public's interests ahead of yours?
Many of George's students, simply by understanding the true goal of the courts, can circumvent trials through administrative hearing. They also learn to stop wasting time, settle out-of-court when appropriate, and set up appealable issues.
Will Rogers used to talk about there being more than one way to skin a cat--George can teach you how.

STATUS & TAX CLASS:
2008 Classes - May 19 - 23, August 4 - 8, November 10 - 14
The Status & Tax classes are one week seminars devoted to discovering your legal status, and acting upon that knowledge. This includes learning the ramifications of various contracts you have signed, knowingly or unknowingly, what options you have if you desire to change your legal status, and how to go about doing so in a lawful and legal manner. People interested in merely 'untaxing' themselves so they have more money to spend on their summer vacation, or because they don't like how Washington is spending their tax dollars, shouldn't bother with this class. Rather, this is for those people who are sincerely interested in moving their life down the proverbial 'path less taken.'
Many students who have taken this class have removed themselves from the 'system.' Those who have done so, following the directions given, have been successful in so doing, with the consequent result that their dependence on, and interference by, the government is greatly reduced. This class does not teach not paying properly owed taxes, rather it teaches that someone should pay what taxes they do owe and how status determines which taxes, and in what amount, are owed. You'd be surrpised at how many people simply send in money to the government, saying "I earned so much this year, send me back any money left over after my taxes are paid." (What do you think refunds really are?) Wouldn't it be more prudent to sit down, figure out how much you earned and what your tax bill really was, based on your various legal statuses (such as married or single, self-employed or employee, how many kids you have, renter or homeowner, etc.) , and simply send in what money was due? Going one step further, what if you could change your status so you would owe less? Would you? For those who say that taking such action is either immoral or illegal, remember that every day people out there are doing so without a hue and cry being raised, or anyone calling them evil or opportunistic. And we're not talking about the Donald Trumps of the world, either. The single guy who moves to a different apartment because the school taxes are lower, the person who only does mail order business with out-of-state companies because there's no sales tax added, and the couple who's lived together for ten years but never gotten married because they get better tax exemptions by filing as two single people rather than a married couple, are but a few examples of people using or changing their legal status to change what taxes they owe. The Status & Tax class simply takes it a step further, showing how you can truly change your status, to the point of removing yourself from the 'system' if you so desire.

THE MOSAIC LAW CLASS:
2008 Classes - September 29 - October 6 (part 2, The Doctrines)
Over the years George has taught many people about the Mosaic Law. He has taught this law as part of each of his other classes. But, until now, he hasn't offered a single class covering the Mosaic Law in it's entirety. This two week seminar, offered twice annually during the Feast of Tabernacles and Passover, will cover the following items:
This is the only school we know of that teaches this Law that was called Holy, Righteous, Just and Good by the writers of the Scriptures, and which is called a bad law and a mistake of God by churches today. Every word that Moses wrote in the Law was good for the people of God at that time. So when did it go bad? Why is it bad for us to follow today? Who is it that continually tells us that it has been abolished? This class explains the who, what and why of those questions.
These classes are for those interested not only in learning about the Bible, but for learning a whole new way of life. There are those who say, and those who do. This class teaches people to do, not merely say.

BUSINESS CLASS:
2008 Classes - November 3 - 7
The Business classes are one week seminars devoted to those people who wish to work in their chosen vocation without being forced to obtain licenses and/or permits. This includes such people as doctors, chiropractors and other health professionals, carpenters, masons, contractors, just to name a few. Anyone who is now in, or plans to be in, a profession where the generally accepted course of action is to first obtain a license, will be interested in this class.
If you listen to the government, you have to have a license to do just about anything, from driving to working to marriage, etc. Now, you and I know that you can go out and build a house without getting a permit - the trick is to do it without getting thrown in jail or losing the house. That's what George teaches. You see, the minute you get a license, you change your status. You've given up your right to do something in exchange for a government privilege. And privileges can be regulated or revoked - rights can't.
This class covers such things as what a license really is (i.e., permission to do something that is otherwise illegal, unlawful, a tort or a trespass), how the State gained control over you through that license, how you can abrogate that control and avoid being harassed, the difference between a public business and a private vocation, and a number of other, related items. This isn't a replacement for the Status & Tax class; it takes the specific issues faced by a professional who changes his status and covers them. If you want to stay where you are, using government privileges at their whim, that's your decision. If you want to work as an individual, exercising your right to labor, this is for you.

SUBSISTENCE & SURVIVAL CLASS:
2008 Classes - September 8 - 19, October 20 - 24
The Subsistence & Survival classes are one week seminars devoted to learning what you need to know to survive in the event things go wrong and disaster strikes, either personal or global. Scripture says that during the end times there will be 64 life-threatening events to threaten mankind including, but not limited to, fire, flood, famine and plague. Even if these aren't the end times, all you have to do is turn on the TV or read a newspaper to hear some city or town in the US was burned out or flooded. So, this can help you NOW.
Survival is more than rhetoric, slogans, running around the woods with a rifle and bragging about what you'd do if they came for you. It's a commitment and way of life. You need to know what needs to be done, when it needs to be done and how to do it--each and every day you'll have to make such decisions. You ask most people what their plans for the future are, not even mentioning disaster or the end days, and you get a series of responses from "I haven't given it any thought," to "God will take care of me and mine," to "When it happens, it happens, and I'll worry about it then," to the ever popular "I don't have to worry about the end times... I'm leaving in the Rapture." Let's try this on for size. Last month the US ecomony collapsed, last week the dikes on your local river burst, your house is underwater, there's no food to be found, the government's not coming in to pass out money and food, and the Rapture occurred in December, 1996. You haven't eaten for a week. What now? This part of the class includes a list of the 64 life-threatening disasters from Scripture and what to do to survive each of them. It also includes information on what you need to store for such a rainy day, where to store it and how to store it. You'll learn to plan for the future, taking any contingencies into account. If you're on a floodplain, plan for floods. If you're in Seattle, plan for tsunami or volcanic eruptions. Each person will make a list of the most likely local disasters, most likely national or global ones, and formulate a step-by-step plan for dealing with each.
Subsistence is the second part of this class, and is equally important. Using our hypothetical flood as an example, it's two months later, your house isn't underwater anymore, but there's still no government money, no local job market and winter is only four months off. It's decision time. You need to know what to do to stay alive after the immediate emergency, which is as or more important than surviving the emergency. What good does it do you to survive a nuclear attack if you die of starvation four long miserable months later because you didn't have any food or shelter? This part of the class includes such basic items as planning a diet, storing and rotating food (bet you didn't know you can't long-term store tomatoes in cans), canning food including meat (Jackie's the only person we know who cans meat regularly), butchering animals, dehydrating food, planning on how much you need to store and what you need to store...we could go on all day. Let's just say that you'll learn what you need to know to start picking up the pieces of your life after a disaster, including hands-on experience with such things as butchering, canning, dehydrating and making jerky (we'll kill, butcher, can (both hot water and pressure canning methods will be taught) and/or dehydrate an entire cow during class).
In Scripture, there's a parable that fits this scenario, that of the wise and the foolish virgins. The wise virgins went and bought oil for their lamps and conserved it so that when the bridgroom came they were ready. The foolish virgins didn't get any extra oil and fell asleep, so when the bridegroom came, they weren't ready and their lamps were empty. They asked the others for help and were told that if they shared, no one would have enough. It's that way in a real life disaster... if you can't stay alive, the odds are your neighbor isn't going to share what little he has just so both of you can die. We're not saying you're due for a disaster next week, next month or, even, next year but you never know when one will come knocking at your door. Don't be like one of the fooish virgins. Do something. Learn to can a cow.

100,000 Increase on 25 Acres or Less:
2008 Classes - August 18 - 29, October 13 - 17
How to make $100,000 a year on 25 acres or less is best taken as a companion class to Subsistence & Survival, though it can be taken as a stand-alone class. This class is extremely important. Let’s say you’ve taken Subsistence & Survival and learned to can a cow. First though, do you know how to raise a cow so you have one to can? Or what happens when you start running out of all those jars and cans of food you stored? Remember, canned food doesn’t spontaneously reproduce. If things go bad for any prolonged period of time, you’ll have to learn how to raise your own food. Back during the Depression and both World Wars, the supply of fresh foods (and some foods altogether) was so limited people learned to garden again out of sheer necessity. We’re not beyond the stage where that might happen in our lifetimes.
Even if things don’t go to hell in a handbasket, this class has much to teach you. Science has been going full-speed ahead with the last stages of the ‘Green Revolution’ started in the 1960’s. Only, they haven’t been telling you the whole truth about what it means to you. First they started hybridizing our grain crops. Then it was our vegetable crops. Next on the list was monoculture (everyone grows the same type of corn, wheat, etc. remember the Irish Potato Famine? It was caused because the Irish all grew the same type of potato. And when one potato got sick and died, all the potatoes got sick and died) In the 1980’s, gene-splicing was limited to a few small companies with a new technology and no real application for their work. Now, the world’s seed companies are making everything genetically engineered and adding new legislation to ensure their control of the world’s food supply. It’s getting harder and harder to find seeds you can plant, grow, save and replant. Companies that only last year had a good selection of non-hybrid seeds have gone out of business or quit bucking the trend.
We’ll cover this and much more in detail. You’ll learn such things as square foot gardening, making raised beds, organic plant protection, Biblical land laws, how to read seed catalogs... and more. This is a perfect class for those who complain their wives don’t understand what they’re doing. Shoot, send her to class instead of you. Most women already understand a decent amount about gardening this class just takes what they’ve learned puttering with flowers and tomatoes and raises it to the next level.
And this is one class where you can turn your hard won knowledge into material gain. A good garden is worth up to $6,000 annually for a family of 4. Add to that the fact that the market for organically grown, non-hybrid food has increased each year (with no end in sight to the boom)... well, you get the idea. This class provides daily benefits in addition to its long term ones. If disaster strikes, you’re ready with food and a renewable source of income feeding those who don’t know how. If it never does, you’ll still have a healthier diet and lifestyle, as well as a possible source of extra income. Either way, you win.

2008 Classes - August 11 - 15
The Family Court classes are one week seminars devoted to teaching you to survive the complex and convoluted web of rules surrounding even the simplest of actions in today's family courts. With the increasing power and scope of these courts, almost everyone, at some point in their lives, will find themselves in family court. Divorces, separations, child support, grandparent visitation, adoption, child molestation/abuse/neglect, and a host of other legal matters are the primary, or sole, preserve of this misunderstood and often confusing legal forum. This class is for those people who are in Family Court, who see that they?re headed for Family Court down the road or who want to make sure they don't end up in Family Court. It doesn't matter if you're 20 or 70... people of all ages and all walks of life can use the material from this class.
Learn how to create exculpatory evidence, to prove your innocence before you're charged because you will be charged, whether or not you're guilty. The state loses support payment records, neighbors repay your parking in their spot by turning in false abuse reports, your child's public school teacher decides to defend his poor teaching by saying your child is neglected... the list of how you can end up in Family Court despite your best intentions is very long indeed.
You?ll learn how and when to initiate DNA testing so the state will pay; how to obtain favorable psychiatrist's or social worker's reports; how to conduct Scriptural, as opposed to state, adoptions; how to create grandparent?s rights where none currently exist; how to set up your home school so they can't charge you with educational neglect... well, we could keep on this list for some time as well.
This class is for grandparents of neglected or abused grandchildren, home-schoolers charged with educational neglect, non-custodial single parents, custodial parents (single or married), anyone involved with training or raising children, anyone with current court orders issued by a Family Court or anyone with a children and a nosy or vindictive neighbor. If you fit any of the above categories, or if you foresee a time when you will fit one, this class is what you've been waiting for.
